We are organizing our first Biosecurity Training of 2026, and registration is officially open. This training is designed for professionals who wish to strengthen their expertise in biosecurity within livestock production systems. The training combines theoretical insights with practical applications and provides participants with concrete tools to assess and improve on-farm biosecurity.
The online training will take place every Monday from 16 March to 11 May 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM (CET). The training consists of five sessions (+ one optional session) structured as follows:
16 March 2026 Biosecurity principles and the link with animal health & production
23 March 2026 Practical implementation of external biosecurity measures
30 March 2026 Practical implementation of internal biosecurity measures
13 April 2026 Quantification of biosecurity on farm-level + (virtual) farm visit
20 April 20226 Persuade farmers to implement biosecurity measures: tips & tricks
11 May 2026 Evaluation and discussion
